Neutrogena Hydro Boost City Shield Water Gel Sunscreen

Neutrogena Hydro Boost City Shield Water Gel Sunscreen

It’s Memorial Day, traditionally the start of summer. Chicagoland may be drowning but let’s talk SUNSCREEN! Hopefully we will have lots of sunny days and you will want to be protected!

I know you love hearing about products that WORK but that are available at the drugstore. Recently, Neutrogena launched a new line of Hydro Boost products, and I purchased the City Shield Water Gel Sunscreen to try!

Pros:

Feels Good! Absorbs quickly, non-greasy, doesn’t clog pores

Broad Spectrum SPF 25 Sunscreen

Doesn’t leave a white cast on skin

Contains Hyaluronic Acid (absorbs water to help skin stay hydrated)

& Antioxidant (although doesn’t specify which ones)

Cons:

Super-liquidy! Should be in a pump or tube!

I spilled a bunch, twice!

I’ve been wearing the Water Gel sunscreen for a week. It wears well under makeup, and as mentioned above, doesn’t leave a white cast on skin. It also absorbs quickly and doesn’t feel sticky or greasy.

How I use it:

I cleanse my skin in the morning (Sonia Roselli Japanese Cleansing Oil or Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser OR Dermalogica Microfoliant (I rotate based on what I need that day). Then I apply Sonia Roselli Water Elixir, followed by the Neutrogena sunscreen. (I linked it on Amazon for you!) The combo of SRB Water Elixir and the Water Gel sunscreen is enough hydration for me in the warmer months.

The Neutrogena Hydro Boost City Shield Water Gel Sunscreen retails for under $20. There’s a reason we love drugstore favorites, amirite? I bought mine at Target. What TYPE of product should I try next! Drop a request below!

Thanks for reading! Can’t wait to hear what products YOU want to know more about!
